Video to GIF without a watermark
Convert MP4 or other video clips to GIF in your browser—no watermark, no forced upload. Trim the highlight, set width, and download.
Many “free” video-to-GIF sites stamp a logo on every export or force you through an account wall. If you just need a clean loop for docs, Discord, or a product page, that friction is the product.
What “no watermark” should mean
A local converter encodes the frames you already have. The output is your clip—nothing overlaid. GIF Labs Convert → Video to GIF runs in the browser: pick a file, trim the range, choose a width, export.
That is different from AI generation, which invents motion from a prompt and uses credits. For an existing recording, stay on Convert.
How to convert video to GIF cleanly
- Open Convert and choose Video → GIF.
- Add an MP4 (or other browser-readable video). Keep the source short when you can.
- Drag the trim handles so you only encode the highlight—not the whole take.
- Pick an output width (128 / 320 / 512). Smaller width means a lighter file.
- Export and download. Preview before you share.
Tips that keep files small
- Prefer 2–4 seconds over a long take.
- Discord and chat apps punish large GIFs; start at 320px width.
- If the result is still heavy, open Convert → Optimize and lower width or frame rate again.
When to use AI instead
Use AI GIF when you do not have footage—only a description or a still to animate. Watermark-free local conversion will not invent a dancing character from text.
Try it
Go to Video to GIF, trim once, and download a watermark-free loop.
